With advanced wound care techniques and state-of-the-art technology, Arizona Wound Centers represents one of the largest wound care programs in the state. Our experienced team includes a medical staff and health care professionals with special training in wound management and hyperbaric medicine.

We offer comprehensive wound care services, including transcutaneous oxygen monitoring (TCOM), hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT), wound debridement, compression therapy, skin graft therapy, and other specialty wound services. Arizona Wound Centers is equipped to care for:

  • Diabetic foot ulcers
  • Radiation burns
  • Lower-leg ulcers
  • Postoperative infections
  • Pressure ulcers
  • Slow- or non-healing wounds
  • Bone infections
  • Failing skin and muscle grafts
  • Gangrene
  • Venous stasis ulcers
  • Skin tears and lacerations

Arizona Wound Centers accept most major insurance plans, including Medicare and AHCCCS.

Arizona Wound Center at Mountain Vista Medical Center is recognized as a Center of Distinction for wound care by Healogics, Inc., the nation’s largest provider of advanced wound care services.

Arizona Wound Center at St. Luke’s Medical Center offers a comprehensive and integrated amputation prevention program, "SL2 - Saving Limbs, Saving Lives.”

Hyperbaric Oxygen therapy involves breathing 100% oxygen in a pressurized tube (referred to as a “chamber”). Inside the chamber, your lungs can transfer more oxygen than would be possible when simply breathing in a normal environment. Patients typically experience a 5x oxygen increase in the chamber, which helps to overcome healing deficits and promote healing.

Available at all Arizona Wound Centers locations, hyperbaric oxygen therapy is used for many types of wounds, from trauma wounds to ulcers to diabetic-related wounds. This therapy is reimbursed by Medicare and other insurance providers for many approved indications.
